Critical care / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has 200 beds with isolation cubicles with positive / negative filtered fresh air flow and 1:1 nursing round the clock. Each bed (huntleigh with bed sore preventing air mattresses) has a window with a view to reduce ICU disorientation, vertical power columns for easy Physician / Nurse access, hand washing to reduce hospital acquired infections, high end monitoring (Philips colour), advanced GE mechanical ventilators for Invasive / Non invasive artificial respiration, Dialysis, IABP, LVAD etc. It is manned round the clock by in house dedicated team of highly qualified intensivists to provide world class care to very sick patients of all age groups of varying illnesses.

Da Vinci Surgical System - The Da Vinci Surgical System with 3D HD vision is the most advanced platform available for minimally invasive surgery. This robotic surgery system which is designed ergonomically for enhanced dexterity, precision, and control with breakthrough surgical capabilities combined with superior 3D visualization.
Cyberknife Robotic Radiosurgery System - With the CyberKnife System, patients can complete treatment in one to five days, unlike the conventional radiation therapy course, which takes weeks to complete. The system both reduces treatment time as well as the side effects associated with radiotherapy. Medanta was the first hospital in India to implement this system.
Cataract suite-This suite comprises an image guided system along with laser technologies to perform cataract surgery with precision and accuracy. With a series of specialized services, the Cataract Suite is designed to provide high-end medical and surgical eye care.[15]Medanta was the first hopital in Asia to incorporate this system in its ophthalmology department.
Brain Suite - The BrainSuite performs intra-operative MR imaging as well as MR guided surgery. It enables surgeons to perform high resolution MRIs during surgery to assess the degree of tumour removal and to avoid damaging normal brain tissues. The BrainSuite also provides tumour luminescence i.e. guiding techniques that visualise tumour during the surgery
Artis Zeego Endovascular Cath Lab - Artis Zeego Endovascular Cath Lab is a floor-mounted imaging system that provides advanced imaging and fulfills the requirements for treating complex cases such as high risk patients and structural heart disease. Since the Artis Zeego allows procedures to be contained in one room, emergencies or complications can be handled immediately, thus lower the risk for patients.

Medanta joins Vattikuti Foundation USA, to launch India’s first multi specialty multi- modality Institute, The Medanta Vattikuti Institute of Robotic Surgeries. This institute will initially cover Cardiac, Urology & Gynaecology Surgeries. Medanta Vattikuti Institute will practice state of art multispecialty robotic surgery under one roof and will be the hub of creation and dissemination of knowledge through its collaborative network and extensive training programs. Medanta- the Medicity has state of the art operation theaters with the latest high tech robotics equipment. The Institute has acquired the Da Vinci Si four arm surgical robotic system for various robotic surgical procedures. The advantages of robotic surgery are 10-12 fold magnification of the surgical field, 3D vision precision due to seven degrees of freedom of movement of robotic instruments, motion scaling and filtering hand movements of the surgeon. Thus, the surgical robot facilitates advanced surgical and reconstructive procedures with greater precision and accuracy.

CyberKnife VSI

CyberKnife is a state-of-the-art, Radiotherapy equipment for Robotic Radiosurgery that allows Radiation Oncologists to treat pathologies painlessly, without the need for an operation.CyberKnife uses pencil beams of Radiation which can be directed at any part of the body, from any direction with the help of a Robotic Arm. The system tracks the Tumor’s position, detects any movement of the Tumor or patient, and automatically corrects before Radiation delivery. It then targets the Tumor with multiple beams of high-energy Radiation, destroying abnormal tissue without damaging surrounding areas.The treatment is so accurate that it’s now possible to treat Tumors previously thought to be inoperable and untreatable. Although the results of treatment do not always show immediately, in most cases, the procedure will initially stop the growth of Tumors, before gradually reducing their size.
